- I often hear the same opinion about Target, it is nice but just too high. People feel they can get things a little cheaper at places like Walmart. The trick to Target is coupons! What customers don't realize is that Target allows what is called coupon stacking. This means that for the same item, you can use both a Target coupon and a manufactures coupon. Target usually has several store coupons online and in the Sunday papers. Make sure you buy a couple papers, you will usually come out way ahead in the end. Also, I have found that hanging onto coupons for a little while usually pays off. Retailers know when a manufacturer is releasing a coupon for a certain item and will often avoid putting that item on sale immediately after the coupon is released. I have gottem items for free by just hanging onto my coupon for a few weeks or even months. By that time new items have generally reduced in price and other items can be on sale. Just keep close track of your coupons expiration dates. So today I went to Target and had my game plan with my coupons all layed out in advance. I was able to purchase what you see pictured above. I got:
- Hungry Hungry Hippos Travel Game
- Two of the new Bounce dryer bars-These are the ones that stick inside the dryer and last for months!
- Two bowls of Honey Nut Cheerios
- Two Dove Ultimate Deoderant-I got one regular and one that is the new Visibly Smooth, which is supposed to reduce hair growth.
- A full sized Johnson and Johnson Moisture Care Baby Wash that actually had 5 bonus ounces
- Aveeno Baby-Soothing Bath Treatment
- Aveeno Baby-Full sized Soothing Relief Moisture Cream
Lets start with the Johnson's Moisture Care Baby Wash. Just print both of the coupons that the following links take you to. Remember, you can use both at the same time and the baby wash is $2.99 at Target, so both coupons make it only $0.99 for you!

Now for the Aveeno Products. The sites below will save you $3 on each Aveeno Baby item. I printed two of each coupon and Aveeno Baby items are on sale at Target this week for $3.50 each. This means you only pay $0.50 each! (if you are keeping track, I am now at $1.99 total)

Now for the Bounce Bars. These are $3.79 for the bars that are supposed to last two months. The following link takes you to Vocalpoint. You sign up and they mail you several coupons. One for $2.50 off and several that are $1.50 off. You can couple these with the with the Target coupons that were in this Sunday's paper for $1.50 off. I used a vocalpoint $2.50 coupon, a Vocalpoint $1.50 coupon, and two $1.50 coupons from the Sunday paper. If you do this, you final cost for two of these Bounce Bars will be $0.58! (I am at $2.57 total)

I got two bars of Dove Ultimate Deoderant. I have never used Dove Deoderant before so I got one of the Ultimates from the "GoFresh" line and one from the "Visibly Smooth" line. The Visibly Smooth is supposed to minimize the visual appearance of hair over time and reduce shaving frequency. These were $3.29 each. I used two of the $1 off Target coupons along with two $2 off manufacturer printable coupons. If you do this, you will only pay $0.58 for both! (This puts me at $3.15)

Finally, I used a $4 off any Hungry Hungry Hippos game coupon that I had previously printed, but the link has since expired...the coupon, however, had not! I will do some searching and if I find a similar link I will post it in here later. I paid $0.99 for this after coupon. (This brings the grand total to only $4.14)
